Jeff became pastor of FBC in 2018. He was ordained into gospel ministry on February 24, 1991, at River Bend Baptist Church in New Bern, NC. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in music education. Jeff holds a Master of Divinity in Christian Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeff has served as a senior pastor at Little River Baptist in the Brevard area, Marble Springs Baptist in the Murphy NC area, and Newfound Baptist in the Asheville area. Jeff and his family served as missionaries with the International Mission Board in South Africa for 5 years. He has been married to Donna since 1985. Together, they have three grown children, Stephen, Emily, and Elizabeth

Shane came to FBC in 2023. He was ordained into gospel ministry on November 14, 2010, at Fincastle Baptist Church in Fincastle VA. Shane has a Bachelors in History from Bluefield University, as well as Masters of Arts in Religion from the Liberty Theological Seminary. Shane has served as an associate pastor at Fincastle Baptist Church in the Roanoke VA area, Southside Baptist Church in the Gadsden AL area, FBC Pikeville in eastern KY. Shane also served as Senior Pastor at Christian Life Fellowship in Lee County VA. Shane married Megan in 2007 and they have three children, Makayla, Micah, and Maribeth.

Michelle accepted the call to the Children’s Director position in 2021. Michelle is a retired Exceptional Children’s teacher from Transylvania County Schools, where she served for 30 years. She and her husband, Mike, were married in 1996 and have two sons, Matthew and Micah. They currently reside in Etowah, NC.
