First Baptist Church Brevard was founded in 1869 with the purpose  of providing a place for people to worship, fellowship, study Gods Word, and listen to Christ centered peaching regularly. This was only 8 years after the town site had been surveyed and prompted this first meeting to take place in a log cabin near Silvermont Park.

Today, First Baptist Church  continues to live out our mission by standing  strong for the  gospel  in our county.  We do this through discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and missions. First Baptist Church Brevard stands on the strong foundation  of Christ to continue its ministry for many years to come.

First Baptist Church  has seen hundreds, and likely thousands of conversions in its rich history, and we continue to pray for many more. To accomplish this, we are committed to teach people to: Embrace the Gospel, Experience Community, Equip the Body, and Engage the World.  We would love for you to join us in all that God is doing in the life of our church.
